If you are planning to enter either the field of project management or business analysis in the near future, you should start preparing for the entry-level certifications right from the beginning. The most prominent project management certification that an entry-level professional can target is the CAPM certification which is regulated by the PMI institute. Similarly, the best entry-level certification in the field of business analyst that a professional can gain after adequate BA training is the ECBA certification which is regulated by IIBA. If you want to gain these certifications, you must fulfill all the eligibility requirements which are as mentioned below.
Eligibility criteria for the CAPM Certification Exam:
In order to apply for the CAPM certification, the applicants must fulfill all the eligibility mentioned below.
- The applicants must hold a minimum educational qualification of high school diploma or any other international equivalent.
- The applicant must also have acquired a minimum work experience of 1500 hours, working as a project manager with relevant projects. Alternatively, the applicants can also apply for the certification after completing 23 hours of exam prep, even without having any kind of work experience.
